Community Mental Health
Prevention Program
Preventing the emergence of community mental health disorders is everyone's task
We have designed this program to strengthen and improve community mental health, prevent the emergence of psychological disorders, and promote early detection of possible signs of psychological or emotional distress.
It is a program designed to offer resources to the entire population in the area of mental health. We want to make accessible the training of tools and skills to improve emotional and mental management.
The program is established with periodic and accessible sessions that can be attended by reserving a space through the events that we will be publishing on our website and through the Newsletter.
All activities have a simple structure: welcome and anchoring, guided practice (outdoor mindfulness, grounding techniques, breathing and conscious movement), communication and cooperation dynamics among the participants, and closing, with guidelines transferable to daily life.
Social connection
Decreased isolation and increased mutual support and sense of belonging
Self-regulation and calm
Practical tools to reduce stress and enhance mental clarity and control.
Early detection
Early identification of signs of distress and guidance to other resources or specific mental health programs for the identified symptoms
This program reinforces resilience, the support network, reducing unwanted loneliness and barriers to access in the acquisition of strategies to improve psychological well-being.
The objective of the therapeutic sessions is preventive and group-based, so it does not replace specific and individualized clinical care when necessary and/or coordinated referral to other health and social resources.
In the community health prevention sessions, we include psychoeducation guidelines on stress, sleep, healthy habits, and prescriptions to sustain the benefits between sessions.
The setting is safe and inclusive, so we offer various practice options, flexible rhythm adapted to each person, and the choice of different types of environments and locations to enable the attendance of everyone.
