The volunteering project at Fundación Almaterra Ibiza is established as a fundamental strategic pillar within the entity’s intervention model, aimed at promoting active community participation in improving emotional well-being, social inclusion, and the creation of community support networks. This project aligns with the organization’s foundational objectives and addresses the need to foster environments of care, support, and comprehensive development for individuals, especially those in vulnerable situations or at risk of social exclusion.

Volunteering is conceived as a key tool to strengthen the social fabric and foster a culture of shared responsibility, where the community actively participates in building solutions to current social challenges. In this sense, Fundación Almaterra Ibiza’s volunteering model is not limited to performing support tasks but is envisioned as a process of conscious involvement, continuous training, and personal growth for volunteers.
