Support group for family members of people

This group is aimed at relatives and caregivers who accompany a loved one with a mental disorder and who need a safe space to share doubts, concerns, and experiences. Minors may participate, provided they are accompanied by a family adult. The objective is to offer emotional support, guidance, and practical tools to face the accompaniment process. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Often, family members of people with mental disorders carry a heavy emotional and logistical burden and may feel overwhelmed or isolated. This group seeks to alleviate that burden through professional support and the strength of peer support. Listening to other people who are experiencing similar situations can be a valuable source of understanding and relief.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

During the sessions, aspects such as communication within the family, crisis management, healthy boundaries, understanding the disorder, and the importance of self-care for those who provide support will be addressed. All of this will be done from a respectful, close, and adapted framework for each family situation. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It is an open space that does not require prior knowledge. Each participant may attend according to their availability, finding a place to feel accompanied and understood. The group is intended as an opportunity to strengthen support networks, share strategies, and promote a healthier coexistence for caregivers and their families. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

ITZEL KRAUEL<\/b><\/p>

<\/b><\/p>

Psychologist specializing in intervention with children, adolescents, and their families. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s Degree in Psychological Intervention in Children and Adolescents (UNIR), and is trained as a Senior Technician in Social Integration.
She has experience in multiple clinical and socio-educational resources: educational psychology, support in inclusive education and special needs, guidance for minors with academic difficulties, diagnosis of learning disorders, intervention with single-parent families, including neuropsychological exploration and group therapies in the field of addictions.
Her approach combines closeness, warmth, and technical clarity. Itzel creates safe spaces where children, adolescents, and families can express themselves, understand their processes, and acquire tools to face emotional, relational, and educational challenges through respectful support and the construction of personal resources. <\/p>

Health Psychologist and Psychotherapist, Bachelor of Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Specialization in Clinical and Educational Psychology from the Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Firenze. Bachelor of Social and Cultural Anthropology from the UNED. <\/p>

She has extensive postgraduate training: Master’s Degree in Integrative Trauma Psychotherapy (Instituto Aleces), Master’s Degree in Systemic Family Therapy (Grupo Zurbano), Gestalt Therapist (G. Quatro), Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (Escuela de Psicodrama de Madrid), University Expert in Restorative Justice (UDIMA).<\/span><\/p>

Founder and president of the Almaterra Ibiza Foundation. She has more than twenty years of experience in individual, family and community psychotherapy, preventive intervention, teaching, and design of psychosocial programs in Spain, Italy, Mexico and Brazil. <\/span><\/p>
